ARAYKO Muay Thai Shorts Size Chart – ASS1
Choosing the right size helps your shorts remain securely positioned while giving your hips and legs the freedom required for kicks, knees, pivots and clinch work.
Use the official ARAYKO ASS1 Muay Thai shorts size guide below to compare your waist measurement with the recommended size. Measurements are available in both centimetres and inches.
Muay Thai shorts sizing can differ from standard gym shorts, jeans and everyday clothing. For the most accurate result, measure your waist rather than selecting a size based only on what you normally wear.

How to Measure for Muay Thai Shorts
Follow the steps below to take an accurate waist measurement before comparing it with the ASS1 size chart. A precise measurement will help you choose a secure, comfortable fit while preserving the freedom of movement expected from traditional Muay Thai shorts.
Measure Where the Waistband Will Sit
Use a soft tailor’s measuring tape and wrap it around the area where you intend to wear the waistband. This will usually be a few centimetres below the navel, depending on your body proportions and preferred fit.
Measure around your waist—not around the widest part of your hips.
Keep the Measuring Tape Level
Make sure the tape remains horizontal around your body. It should sit close to the skin without digging in or compressing your waist.
Stand naturally, breathe normally and avoid pulling your stomach in while measuring. Taking the measurement twice can help confirm that the result is accurate.
Compare Your Measurement With the Chart
Find your waist measurement in the centimetres or inches chart and select the corresponding ASS1 size.
Do not rely only on the letter size you wear in jeans, training shorts or products from another brand. Different garments can use different cuts, waistband constructions and sizing systems.
What If You Are Between Two Sizes?
When your waist measurement falls between two sizes, consider both your preferred fit and the look you want from your Muay Thai shorts.
Choose the larger size for a more relaxed feeling around the waistband, additional room and slightly more coverage through the body and legs.
Choose the smaller size for a closer fit and a shorter, higher-cut appearance that reflects a more traditional Thai silhouette—but only if your waist measurement remains comfortably within the recommended range and the waistband does not feel restrictive.
Your waist measurement should remain the main sizing reference. Height and body weight may provide additional context, but they should not replace an accurate waist measurement.
